These are very durable and the cats love scratching on them. My couch may be saved! I placed them close to the couch and they scratch them instead.

Does exactly what it should, attracts my cats to the mat instead of the carpet. Yay for saving my carpet from any holes. This size is perfect for fitting in a doorway (which is where my cat likes to scratch for some reason). The folds are a bit stubborn to get flat, but after 2 days of walking over it it's no longer a trip hazard. I think it's worth the $$ due to it being cheaper than carpet.
At first my cat was a little hesitant towards this scratch pad. He is 3 years old and was used to the messy cardboard scratch pads. For the first month he would sleep on the pad, but not use it as a scratch pad. I would pretend to scratch on it to let him know he could claw at it. He still sleeps on the pad but it is now his favorite scratch pad. No more messy cardboard!
Stuck it to the floor, sticks pretty well. Cats stopped scratching my carpet. It lifts a little in the middle if my cats get really into it but doesn’t unstick much.

I bought this to put on the side of my shelf next to my cat’s litter box. My cat kept scratching at the shelf when I was sleeping and it was extremely annoying. Since putting this up, I have not been woken up during the night from scratching noises. I have not seen either of my cats use this as a scratch mat, but it acts as a good protection for my shelf.
I love that this scratcher mat came with adhesive velcro so that I could put it up on the wall. I didn't plan to use it on the wall, but my cat completely ignored it when it was on the ground... but loves using it on the wall! She uses it daily, and it shows little evidence of wear and tear.
